Design Engineer

Terex is actively seeking a skilled and experienced design engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Engineered solutions to assist in the creation of new products, as well as the continuous improvement of the current Ecotec Range
• Collaborate with the team to examine and resolve customer complaints, aid in the resolution of issues to the root of the issue quickly and efficiently, and make any necessary engineering changes.
• Check that the latest and upcoming products are in compliance with standards and perform to the levels that are required for safety, function, and reliability.
• Help the Ecotec dealers with the assistance and support they need, including assisting with technical questions from dealers as well as customers.
• Create a complete design package for manufacturing that includes detail drawings, exaggerated designs, engineering BOMs, etc.
• Reduce costs for manufacturing by improving design and collaboration with the department of production, purchasing, and suppliers.
• Follow group standards in the areas of quality, FMEA, design-for-manufacture, prototype development, and field testing
