Responsibilities: 

  • Utilizes broad, thorough mechanical engineering principles to the piping, rotating equipment, as well as HVAC systems, pressure systems, plant utilities, and balance-of-plant systems.
  • * Independently evaluates technical issues and creates solid engineering solutions.
  • * Knows the related disciplines (civil electrical, C&I, and civil) enough to be able to handle interactions and deal with multidisciplinary clashes.
  • The interpreter and the application of standards and mechanical codes such as Eurocodes, EN 13480/13445, PED/CE Marking ASME B31.1/B31.3, and European/Irish regulations.
  • * Keeps current knowledge of techniques and practices of the mechanical industry applicable to power generation EPC projects.
  • * Represents the mechanic discipline in vendor, client, contractor, and regulatory authority relationships
