Sr. Dams Engineering Manager

Black & Veatch is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. Dams Engineering Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of our operations. 

Responsibilities: 

• Working directly and in direct communication with counterparts of the client to identify the key areas of interest in developing solutions for technical issues to the infrastructure challenges they face, offering strategies and ideas to take projects from conception through to completion.
• Converting client instructions into effective plans for work and working with team members on the project to provide top-quality work outputs.
• Writing technical documents in writing such as technical drawings and costs estimates, specifications, alternative analyses, and other common engineering deliverables
• Be familiar with designs guides and standards, systems, and engineering codes that are applicable to the field
• Utilizing understanding of the general principles of engineering such as hydraulics, civil/structural design Geotechnical issues, as well as mechanical systems to create innovative engineered solutions.
• Supervising the calculation and design documents.
• Participating in the procurement of equipment and managing construction processes.
• Supervising and guiding junior engineers and managing their development.
• Supporting teams of business development for pursuit actions, with the possibility to oversee projects you want to pursue and acquire.
