Senior Engineer - Hydraulics & Drainage

AECOM is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Engineer - Hydraulics & Drainage to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of our operations. 

Responsibilities:

• Work on engineering projects that are detailed that require drainage calculations and designs for railway or road drainage.
• Conducts hydrologic and hydraulic studies including culvert sizing, storm drainage systems design, crossing-drainage construction and floodplain impacts at railway crossings or roadways.
• Design and lead the conceptual plan for drainage structures, including storm drains, culverts channels, detention facilities as well as erosion-control measures that integrate with railway and roadway profiles as well as Grading plans.
• Conducts self-checks on work items before submission and is a participant in quality-control reviews of documentation with equally or less experienced employees.
• Provide project managers with technical assistance, scheduling management, as well as quality assurance.
• Offer technical guidance and mentoring for drafters and engineers in the junior phase.
