Sims Metal is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Performs routine maintenance of the loader, like lubricating the engine, cleaning it, and fueling.
Performs an inspection prior to using the equipment.
Use machinery safely under the supervision of the shift supervisor or the production manager. Scrap pile trucks, load trucks, material, load/unload barges, and rail cars.
Clean up at the end of the shift and inspect of equipment.
Participate in safety training and participate in safety programs.
Other duties can be given to the employee.
