Key Responsibilities:

Examine the conditions of the ground prior to the crane is set up and operated.
Check the load for an appropriate lift in line with the crane's capacities and lifting equipment, as well as the surrounding conditions
Perform pre-start safety and security checks on every piece of equipment
Monitor the equipment of the crane to ensure that loads stay within the safe working limit
The cranes are placed in the right position to allow doggers and riggers to connect and move loads with chains, shackles or slings
