Crane Operator

MEI Rigging & Crating LLC is seeking a skilled, experienced Crane Operator Technician to join its dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Use different types of cranes such as All Terrain, Rough Terrain, Crawlers, Industrial, Hydraulic Trucks, Conventional Trucks, and Boom Trucks.
• Hydraulic Truck Crane Operators operate diesel-powered cranes that are mounted on truck chassis to raise material or objects to the desired position.
• The crane is driven to the work site and sets it up in accordance with the manufacturer's operator manual and the company's rules on mats, cribbing blocks, or mats as needed for the job of the customers.
• Direct duties of truck drivers, oilers, or other helpers during the installation and disassembly of equipment.
• Attach cribbing blocks or pads. Use feet pedals or levers to turn super structure, raise and lower the boom to lower and raise cables.
• Operators may operate the crane based on signals from the oiler, or a helper may bolt or pin boom sections to alter the length of the boom.
• Perform * Performpre and post-trip inspections, as well as monthly and daily inspections of the equipment.
• Perform regular maintenance.
• Take tools to run repairs.
• Barricades are the counterweights to work and tail-swing.
• Take full responsibility for the safety of all equipment used for the assembly, disassembly, and operation of the crane. Make sure you wear PPE Safety equipment.
• Can sign a work ticket to allow the client to assume accountability for the job site and bill.
• Drive the truck up to work sites and then unload the truck.
• Short travel is to be expected. In general, no more than one week.
