Crane Service Technician

Crofton is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Service Technician to join their dynamic team. Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Maintain Manitowoc friction and hydraulic cranes according to schedule (500, 1000, 2000, etc. hours).
• Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical problems; identify underlying causes and take appropriate action. 
• Keep track of schedules for undercarriage parts, boom hoist assemblies, service wire rope systems, crane lubrication, system pressure, flow, temperature, and fluid sampling programs. 
• To identify failures, use hydraulic and mechanical schematics. 
• Report dangerous situations, flaws, or possible malfunctions. 
• Diagnose and fix hydraulic and friction cranes' control systems, limit switches, and load indication. 
• Provide technical support to operators and carry out pre-operation inspections.
