Maintenance supervisor

Snapon is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance supervisor to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Assist all departments in maintaining the tools and equipment needed to meet shipping and production needs in a cost-effective and quality way.
• Keep the building and the facility in good repair to ensure secure and safe working conditions
• Implement and encourage continuous improvement to increase efficiency and quality.
• Perform supervisory duties, including but not restricted to: completing reviews for employees, evaluating attendance, and monitoring.
• The schedule of all work and employees according to the requirements.
• Ensure that the associates in the departments are adequately trained and provided with the training required.
• Perform regular safety and preventive maintenance of equipment when needed.
• Coordinate and communicate with supervisors in order to determine priorities for the needs of other supervisors to prioritize.
• Make it a priority to create a healthy, safe working environment to ensure compliance with the government and corporate security and environmental policies.
• Offer appropriate support and recommendations to employees with regard to problems or concerns.
• Contracts with vendors outside and agencies, and then purchase items.
• Keep track of and order the necessary supplies.
• As needed, counsel and discipline specialists are required.
• Help support production during the development and installation of tools/fixtures
• Production support for special orders
• Other tasks as assigned.
