Equipment Operator

McGee Construction is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Operating Heavy Equipment: Use construction machines, including excavators, bulldozers, cranes, and loaders to complete duties that include excavation, grading, and lifting and placing materials.
• Site preparation: Assist with clearing, excavating, trenching, and grading the job site in preparation for construction projects.
• Safety: Adhere to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Perform pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure that they are functioning properly.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment and thoroughly clean or make simple repairs, if needed. Report any issues to a supervisor or maintenance crew.
• Project Support: Work with project personnel like foremen and supervisors to ensure work is completed on time and that specifications are met.
• Material Movement: Move materials and supplies with equipment and position them in proper order to maintain proper flow.
• Reports & Records: Create and maintain accurate reports and records of equipment use, maintenance, and project progress.
