Skid Steer Operator (Asphalt Paving Crew)

Colas actively seeks a skilled and experienced Skid Steer Operator (Asphalt Paving Crew)  to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about maintaining and repairing equipment used in environmental services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Key Duties

• Must have some knowledge of the mechanics and hydraulics of the machine.
   
• Must have the ability to complete an inspection checklist on the machine, such as tracks, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water.
   
• Must keep equipment serviced, lubricated, and in good working order, including keeping a good housekeeping of the machine.
   
• Must understand the control levers for the movement functions of the bucket.
   
• Must have a strong priority for the safety and welfare of all workers in the vicinity of the machine.
   
• Must be able to operate the vehicle safely in all job site situations as well as follow all policies and procedures of the company.
