Key Job Responsibilities
(1) Repairs or troubleshoots plant machinery on the basis of a schedule and on an emergency basis.
(2) informs the supervisor of the status of the equipment and recommends the appropriate action.
(3) Conducts maintenance preventive on electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, as well as physical facilities and lifting equipment (overhead and hoists).
(4) Installs electrical and mechanical equipment. Performs the necessary alignments and adjustments to ensure proper operation.
(5) Make use of lifting equipment, overhead cranes, ladders, and tow motors to move equipment or to make repairs.
(6) Reads schematics of hydraulic repair, troubleshoots, and reads hydraulic systems.
(7) Fabricates metal for machine guards, tables, etc. by machining their own components.
