Material Handler/Hydraulic Machine Operator

Ingram barge  company is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Material Handler/Hydraulic Machine Operator to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Using a material handler to load and unload cargo quickly and safely 
• Helping to load and unload cargo from ships, trucks, and trains 
• Using terminal equipment like conveyors 
• Helping to take off and put back on barge covers
• Keeping an eye on and talking to the truck drivers or rail car loading team 
• Checking equipment on a regular basis, filling out daily checklists, and letting someone know if something is broken or needs maintenance
• Following safety rules and making sure that safety rules and company policies are followed
• Keeping the work area, including the dock, warehouse, and cargo storage areas, clean and safe
