Maintenance Technician

Sabert is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about maintaining and repairing equipment used in environmental services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Duties:

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment malfunctions on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot AC and DC motor drives, relays, motors, and control systems
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM), complete daily walk-throughs of machines
- Create and complete work orders in SAP, which include logging time and parts used
- Assist in the installation of equipment, upgrades, and project work related to equipment reliability
- Track maintenance activities via Microsoft Excel and communicate with the team via Outlook
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized area within maintenance
- Use root cause analysis as necessary and recommend actions for long-term improvement
- Communicate well with employees within the team and other departments.
