Manufacturing Engineer Remanufacturing

Volvo is actively seeking a skilled and experienced manufacturing engineer remanufacturing to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of our operations. 

Responsibilities:

• Help support the local production facility and serve as the point of contact for product development and pilot plants for questions related to design and product modifications.
• Develop, design, and then implement new or improved remanufacturing methods for remanufacturing products that are cost-effective.
• Create and define requirements for tools and manufacturing equipment.
• Create and optimize the factory layout setup.
• Create and maintain work guidelines for teams in production.
• Take part in or be a part of the development of new products or participate.
• Management of BOMs and Design Change Notifications.
• Coordinate and lead maintenance activities.
• Participate in pre-study research projects for manufacturing techniques.
• Help the production team with technical-related issues.
• Support quality cases as they are required.
• Collaborate and work closely with global engineering and logistical teams from France, Sweden, and China.
