Service Technician

Vestas is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join their dynamic team.

The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Responsibilities

- Perform scheduled service and reactive maintenance
- Respond to reactive maintenance and attend the site after hours or on weekends based on a roster.
- Responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of company vehicles and plant equipment.
- Perform operations and maintenance within the limits of training and authorisation, including operation of HV and LV.
- In ensuring that, regardless of the task undertaken, always mitigate risks and ensure; safety of personnel, protecting the environment, work methods are followed and completed.
- Participate in site induction.
- Undertake tasks as required by the SMA (Service Maintenance Agreement).
- Comply with the duty of care prescribed under OH&S legislative obligations, and show commitment to preventing accidents and incidents.
- Comply with all work instructions, procedures, safety codes of practice, employer OH&S and Environmental requirements, and statutory rules and regulations.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required.
- Participate in safety, toolbox, or other meetings as required relating to safety on site.
- Other duties as required, within your competence, skills, qualifications, and experience as directed.
