Service Technician-Macintyre

Nordex is actively seeking a skilled and experienced service technician-Macintyre to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of our operations.

Your tasks: 

• Conduct preventive as well as corrective maintenance of wind turbines, including troubleshooting, fault finding, and autonomous repairs.
• Perform complicated repairs and major component exchanges with the help of lead technicians or subcontractors.
• Conduct inspections, commissioning, and safety assessments (electrical, mechanical, and power sources) and submit all required paperwork (LOTO, JSEA, and reports).
• Examine technical issues and share solutions with your service coordinator as well as the local operations manager. Also, update the system (e.g., Osapiens).
• Make sure you are able to complete your work on time and in good quality by adhering to regulations, manuals, and Nordex safety guidelines.
• Control spare part inventory, control inventory, and assume responsibility for the tools, materials, and equipment for the site.
• Support operations of the wind farm 24 hours a day by rotating shifts as well as overtime and on-call tasks.
• Professionally represent Nordex, maintain certifications, and participate in continuous improvement and safe working procedures.
