What is the position? 

  • Reading Technical Drawings: Comprehending and analyzing schematics, diagrams, or blueprints to guarantee correct part assembly.
  • Assembly is the process of assembling mechanical parts, including frames, gears, and motors, to produce a final product. 
  • Tool Use: Assembling or modifying parts with the use of hand tools, power tools, and equipment (such as drills, grinders, and wrenches). 
  • Quality control involves checking assembled goods for errors, precision, and adherence to requirements. 
  • Welding/Fabrication: An assembly technician may occasionally also be involved in the welding or fabrication of assembly-related components. 
  • Testing: Verifying that machinery or equipment is operating properly by running tests on it and making any necessary adjustments.
