Hydraulic assembler

NOV is actively seeking a skilled and experienced hydraulic assembler to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities: 

• Read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and schematics to determine the correct assembly sequence and installation methods.
• Check incoming components, tools, materials, and documentation to ensure everything required for assembly is available and meets specifications.
• Carry out functional and operational testing of completed assemblies and identify and troubleshoot any faults or performance issues.
• Diagnose assembly-related problems and carry out repairs, component replacements, adjustments, and rebuilds when required.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards, engineering requirements, and customer specifications.
• Perform visual and dimensional checks and assist with cross-checking the work completed by other team members when required.
• Complete production records, inspection reports, checklists, and timesheets accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area while following company health, safety, and quality procedures.
• Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet production schedules and delivery requirements.
• Assist less experienced assemblers by sharing practical knowledge, demonstrating correct assembly methods, and providing technical support when required.
• Identify recurring assembly issues and communicate them to supervisors or engineering teams to help improve product quality and assembly processes.
