Principal Duties
Parts, subassemblies, and entire machines should be prepared, laid out, aligned, and assembled.
To carry out high-precision assembly, use hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and measuring devices.
Utilizing jacks, hoists, overhead cranes, and jibs, position and align components.
Fit keys and splines, install power units and accessories, and execute press/shrink fits.
Test and adjust machines' functionality, disassemble them, and get them ready for storage or transportation.
Keep your workspace neat and orderly, and observe all safety precautions.
