Savannah Energy is seeking a skilled, experiencedField Operator to join its dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring plant's parameters and equipment (UGPF, IGRF, City gate/Unicem PRMS, as well as Stubb Creek) while ensuring strict compliance with safety procedures to ensure the safety of the facility.
  • Perform daily monitoring and recording of all operating parameters in the plant (flow, temperature, pressure, as well as level) and report any abnormalities to the supervisor.
  • Assist in the operation of plant Equipment and systems such as process control pumps, instrument systems, air dehydrators, the fuel gas system, emergency shut-down system, gas generators, diesel generators, reciprocating compressors,s gas-fired boiler,s and process pumps, as well as mechanical refrigeration systems and hydrant systems, etc.
  • Assist the senior operators with wellhead operations and monitoring well performance by logging parameters and documenting these log sheets.
  • Participate in well-testing tasks and monitor/record the parameters of tests.
  • Monitor and operate hydraulic and electrical control panels, as well as safety and emergency shutdown devices, and gas and fire systems.
  • Assist in the creation of reports on plant equipment.
  • Assist in scheduled maintenance of the equipment of the process plant and wellheads.
  • Annual and monthly tests of safety devices' compliance.
  • Responsible for collecting samples and filling out sampling cards to be sent to laboratories for distribution.
  • Perform troubleshooting of equipment in conjunction with senior operators, as well as other members of maintenance teams.
  • Utilize equipment that is not critical to ensure the continuous operation of the plant.
  • Respond to emergencies in accordance with emergency procedures, and deploy safety equipment if needed.
  • Make sure that the company's policy is in compliance with procedures, policies, and rules and regulations.
  • Perform routine checks on equipment and report any anomalies to the maintenance department to determine if there is a need for corrections.
  • Perform any other tasks that are assigned by the Line Manager.
