responsibilities:

  • Create and execute the design and execution of Hydraulic Tests: Manage the design and execution of thermal hydraulics tests, making sure that test designs and configurations are in line with the objectives of the experiment. Assist in the development of precise test matrices and ensure they are successful in the testing of the experiments in order to collect accurate information.
  • Reporting and Analysis of Test Data, Control data collection and processing, and deep analysis of the test results. Work together with R&D Data Scientists to improve simulation models based on research results. Communicate findings, conclusions, risks, and solutions to the R&D Director.
  • Provider of subject matter expertise, gives professional advice on the design of thermal hydraulics test designs and methods for testing. Examine and interpret internal and external documents pertaining to the identification of tests, as well as design development and other experimental work.
  • CFD Simulations, Optimization, and Make meshes for 2D as well as 3D CFD models of various geometries, conduct steady-state and transient simulations, as well as conduct sensitivity analyses and optimization studies in order to help the development of experimental designs.
  • Scaling and Experimental Setup Design: Conduct scaling analyses and analyze scaling distortions in order to determine the reliability of test configurations. Determine the location of sensors and other instrumentation requirements, and assist in the development of test equipment and system configurations.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Develop and lead an engineering team and technicians, who will provide hands-on assistance during the entire testing process, as well as troubleshooting and effective team collaboration. Create a culture that encourages continuous advancement and high-tech excellence.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Collaboration with the R&D Team Coordinator in order to keep track of test schedules, keep them up to date, as well as the status of projects. Work together with the TEI engineering team in order to help with the development of designs and improve testing configurations.
  • Presentations and Documentation: Develop complete reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, containing test results and assumptions, risks, and restrictions. Create proposals for testing options based on research results.
  • Innovation and improvement: Participate in the development of new test methods, tools, and techniques to improve testing capabilities. Continue to make improvements in experiment design, analysis methods, and the effectiveness of testing execution.
