Andiritz is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Engineer, Proposals to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

The following duties constitute the main part of this Canadian team.

• Analyze client specifications/drawings and requirements, and recommend suitable hydraulic solutions using internal tools.
• Engage with the engineers from the mechanical and Generator engineering teams to maximize solutions.
• Work with engineering teams to prepare preliminary designs for components, CFD and FEA analyses, and test models.
• Calculate the best way to use the solution you have chosen and make sure it's executable, without placing ANDRITZ or the user at risk. This can include transient analyses as well as the calculation of axial hydraulic thrust, Labyrinth selection, sizing and selection as well as pressure fluctuation level assessments and more.
• Make hydraulic proposals, as well as technical datasheets.
• Exhibit initiative and imagination in managing risks in hydraulics, especially by identifying possible issues by capturing them in a document, then suggesting new solutions.
• Engage in discussions on technical issues with various stakeholders in the sense of cooperation.
