Hydraulics Design Engineer

Astec is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulics Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. Deliverables and Responsibilities:

·    Provide hydraulic design engineering in support of Astec product development and improvement initiatives.

·    Utilize 3-D CAD modeling and other engineering programs (e.g., Automation Studio) to evaluate and refine designs.

·    Develop, check and maintain accurate specifications and engineering drawings.

·    Manage engineering changes in accordance with established company processes.

·    Collaborate with production team members to clarify and address manufacturing and/or design challenges and develop cost reduction initiatives related to the products.

·    Utilize root cause analysis tools and other problem-solving skills to identify product improvement opportunities and implement corrective changes.

·    Deliver work on time and deliverables per the requirements authorized by management.

·    Provide technical support as required to help with the needs of other departments such as operations, quality, purchasing, service, etc.
