Equipment Operator

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate and maneuver equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, or other machinery as requested for project-specific purposes or tasks.
• Conduct pre-operation checks for equipment to ensure operational integrity and performance; inspect equipment for warning lights, alarms, tendency, or maintenance; determine if equipment needs to be repaired, serviced, or cleaned before being used
  Ensure a safe working environment according to Supervisors' safety requirements and protocol, including yourself, your co-employees and crew, and all other persons at the site.
• Use equipment to load, unload, and move materials, supplies, or products as requested /required.
• Follow instructions to complete tasks correctly.
  Follow procedures for maintaining, monitoring and refining equipment performance and report any malfunctioning or request any needed maintenance to your Supervisor or Trade Group Leader.
• Follow project completion schedules and deadlines relative to your assigned worktasks.
• Confirm part numbers, quantities and product descriptions as needed to deliver the completions of tasks correctly.
• Utilize hand-held scanners or other means to detail particulars to track and account for inventory levels.
  Follow the shipment contract terms upon arrival of shipments, inspecting shipments as they're received, checking for damages or missing items, and documenting with discrepancies as needed.
• Organize and put away products as necessary, ensuring incorrect stacking of products, and ensuring access to products when required.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized.
