Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic

DMC Mining is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities:

•    Provide quality preventative maintenance as instructed by immediate supervisor.
•    Follow company policies and procedures.
•    Understand how diagnostic devices and measuring instruments work, reading and interpreting.

•    Inspect, troubleshoot and diagnose equipment as needed - air/hydraulic systems an asset.
•    It is required that the individual will read procedures and blueprints as part of the diagnostics.

•    Read electrical and hydraulic prints.

•    Record all defective items on equipment and provide parts listing following the DMC work order procedures

•    Must follow standard safety operating procedures.

•    Takes responsibility for those aspects of occupational health and safety, and environmental matters, over which he/she has command, including adhering to all requirements pertinent to DMC.
