Heavy Equipment Operator

Scotts Miracle-Gro company is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join their dynamic team. Specific Responsibilities:

• Utilize a forklift, clamp truck, front end loader, or other power equipment to load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials;
• Prepare organic mixes;
• Push or relocate piles to maintain segregation of materials;
• Keep production supplied with a continuous inventory of material;
• Monitor stockpiles for excessive temperatures, turn stockpiles and extinguish small fires;
• Verify that inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; Report quantity variances;
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, making sure that the exact quantity and type of product is loaded and shipped;
• Efficiently complete picking duties in a manner that meets customer service standards;
• Move product from staging and/or storage into trailers in an efficient manner;
• Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put away, and load functions, as required;
