Equipment Operator

Cable Services Company Inc. is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join its dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Unload and load equipment in a manner that's safe and without damage.
• Transport equipment, materials, or equipment in a safe manner
• Perform a daily inspection of the equipment prior to beginning work.
• Together with the crew, work with the equipment to aid in the installation of underground utilities.
• Use equipment in accordance with the industry and company standards
• Responsible for locating underground utilities and verifying their existence, conforming to blueprints
• Find out the location of the presence of utilities in the construction area and identify bore paths
• Connect/stub-up wire and conduit in the manner required
• Dig trenches, pits, or potholes according to the requirements, including windows, when crossing utility lines.
• Restore and/or replant disturbed areas of the worksite
• Complete all necessary documents for the company assigned to each task (i.e., timesheet, timesheet expense report, vehicle log)
• Follow all the safety guidelines of the company and work in a safe way
• Assist in other tasks as needed to assist the team in completing an assignment
