Responsibilities encompass but aren't restricted to:
Design, research, plan, and create new applications for electromechanical systems and equipment.
Examine the specifications, standards, and other documentation of the contractor and other documentation to establish the mechanical engineering requirements.
Review, repair, or design engines for diesel and gas basic pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, or instrumentation systems by using techniques of investigation and analytical methods to ensure that systems meet the specifications required by law.
Collect and combine basic information and complete regular research and development tasks, which require calculations as well as relatively easy tests to design new software or to upgrade hardware.
Assist technicians and guide them in manufacturing and installing basic mechanical equipment, as well as routine systems, to ensure the conformity of the product or system to the specifications of engineering and customer requirements.
