Heavy Equipment Operator

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Perform the daily maintenance tasks required to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment
• Adhere to Company Safety Policies and Procedures
• Ability to understand drill patterns and the lingo, followed by the execution of the drill pattern and layout according to the guidelines determined by the Blaster Foreman
• Inventory accessories, know the costs of accessories, maintenance, and drill tools
• Inform about terrain conditions and problems to the Blaster/Foreman.
• Know what the Field Accounting system is and accurately complete and submit on time paperwork, including drilling reports, hole sheets, and a time card that is signed
• Physical ability
• Use the Blaster to coordinate supplies. Blaster
• Keep all tools and equipment
• Participate in meetings as required, Foreman's, Safety job-specific, daily Heads-Up
• Then complete the Driller I course within the designated timeframe
• Ability to work without supervision with a sense of urgency
• Other tasks as required
