Yancey is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Field Service Diesel Technician to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Examine and diagnose, troubleshoot, and find mechanical problems on diesel engines of heavy equipment and other components. Find and purchase components as required.
• Find out the scope of repairs needed, such as identifying major powertrain overhaul needs. Prepare the necessary orders for services.
• Correct use of diagnostic equipment.
• Repair and/or replace every component of the hydraulic systems for diesel engines, air conditioning systems, suspension systems, drivetrains, electrical systems, including steering, braking, material handling, and operator comfort systems.
• Conduct welding and brazing, make and modify parts and equipment, as well as miscellaneous structures and attachments.
• Work orders must be completed in a timely manner. (including the warranty details) along with time sheets, in a clear, time-bound, and accurate timeframe.
• Use vehicles and equipment with the necessary certificates and licenses.
• Complete all work in accordance with established safety standards and quality standards. procedures.
• Keep records of inspections for service vehicles, daily inspections, and logs of drivers as mandated by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• It is essential to keep the equipment and truck tidy and give the best possible impression to the general public.
• Cameras are used when it is necessary.
