Heavy Equipment Shop Technician

The Position 

• Examine and identify equipment and component issues for maintenance requirements.
• Ask the owners of the equipment for permission to service and repair it as needed. 
• Equipment is serviced and repaired for customers both on-site and in the shop. 
• Recondition and remanufacture parts as needed for hydraulic, engine, and equipment repairs. 
• Create and preserve a solid working rapport with clients. 
• Inform the branch manager or supervisor of any equipment maintenance requirements. 
• Share completed work and finish service documentation. 
• Maintain and update service records. 
• Complete the warranty information form. 
• Finalize the work orders 
• Take part in in-house and manufacturer training. 
• Training can take place during or after business hours.
