Glanbia seeks a skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional passionate about maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty equipment used in environmental services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Requirements:

· Adjust PIDs, I/P's, etc.

· Coordinate with and arrange contractors

· Extend equipment electrical functionality to maintenance and operations staff as necessary

· Examine and interpret program ladder logic; make small adjustments as necessary.

· Execute assigned work orders and complete electro-mechanical related tasks as assigned

· Join the preventative maintenance plan as designated

· Support/manage equipment development and install alone and as part of a team

· Responsible for generating, changing, and modifying orders within the SAP system when necessary

· Repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems and equipment

· Set general work order planning promptly.

· Optimize scheduled maintenance routes (PMs) and coordinate with the Maintenance Manager.

· Optimize predictive maintenance routines

· Familiarity with air compressors, pumps, and heat exchanges is a plus

· Responsible for owning electrical pieces in the plant (VFDs, instrumentation, wiring, motors, panels, PLCs, etc.)

· Conduct "breakdown analysis" for every equipment breakdown by priority that affects the production timeline; troubleshoot electrical faults in the field.
