Mechanical Engineer

Poseidon Ocean Systems is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Prototyping, design, analysis, testing, and confirmation of:
  • Fan/blower/compressor/pump and engine/motor powertrains
  • Systems for piping and pneumatic/hydraulic systems, as well as general applications for thermofluids
  • Industries, skids, enclosures, and enclosures
  • Oxygen concentrators as well as oxygen conveyance systems.
  • Liquid-gas mass transfer systems
• Make and edit mechanical designs and drawings with SolidWorks CAD, PDM, and other CAD software as required.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials), manufacturing documentation, and other technical documentation.
• Ensure all designs conform to corporate standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations.
• Be sure to document design modifications and versions for teams in production.
• Collaboration with the service, production, and team members to ensure the ability to manufacture and the ease of assembly.
• Assist in resolving problems with design and fabrication.
• Look for opportunities to increase the design efficiency, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
• Take part in the design review process and provide feedback on improvements to product development.
• Help with any of the design, documentation, and technical requirements as needed.
• Transfer clients to facilities and assist with testing equipment.
