Principal Systems Engineer - Actuation System

Edgegroup is actively seeking a skilled and experienced  Principal Systems Engineer - Actuation System to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and define the system-wide requirements along with performance standards for actuator systems (flight controls, landing gear, and the deployment of payloads).
• Create and maintain system security analysis in parallel. Maintain documents for interface control (ICDs), requirement traceability matrices, and diagrams of the system's architecture.
• Create related design evidence documents, including DDP
• Assure that Design Life Cycle management is done in accordance with DO 4754
• Collaborate closely with the control systems, avionics, and airframe teams to ensure proper interaction between actuators.
• Make sure that the requirement definition, design process, as well as verification and integration of the custom-designed system are implemented (ADASI or supplier side)
• Create related design verification documents, including System DDPs.
