Assembler Mech

Textron is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Assembler Mech to join its dynamic team. As an Assembler Mechanic, your responsibilities will include:

• Drilling high-precision holes using different types of manual drills/power feed drills.
• Installing a variety of fasteners into both composite and sheet metal.
• Install, fit, and adjust parts or assemblies where troublesome installations, alignments, or adjustments are required while in accordance to technical directive/specifications.
• Ability to work from blueprints or project sketches and templates with or without use of tooling jigs or fixtures..
• Experienced Techs should be capable of performing most of the assembly tasks on all sections of the aircraft, as well as have the ability to complete stations and bench assembly.
• Possible need to complete some composite or fiberglass bond layup/repair.
• Ability to create the necessary layouts to fabricate and fit component parts to the engineering requirements.
• Work to crew loads and encompasses written and verbal work instructions.
• Will perform scheduled/unscheduled inspections.
