Assembly Shop Fitter

Safran is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Assembly Shop Fitter to join their dynamic team. Job Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and hydraulic schematics that identify and explain the role and function of mechanical and hydraulic and electrical components. 
• Proven problem solving abilities and experience/exposure to lean manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to identify non-conformances when assembling landing gear.
• A basic personal tool kit is also required
• An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License would be considered an asset or 5 years relevant experience.
• Be able to use hand and machine tools
• Self-motivated
• Able to work with little to no supervision.
• Ability to work shifts as required.
• Proven ability to work well with others as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal are a must.
