Hose Assembler

Gates is actively seeking a skilled and experienced  Hose Assembler to join their dynamic team.

ABOUT YOU

• Attendance is a fundamental aspect of this position.  The employee will have regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance.
• Will be able to work 40 hours/week plus overtime.
  The ability to read, understand and be able to follow printed and verbal work instructions throughout all processes.
• Will always demonstrate safe working habits and follow all safety requirements.
• Able to plan, evaluate, set up and operate required machinery - saws, crimpers, pushers, flushers, etc - and verify compliance.
• Will operate machine controls - to include knowing warning devices on machines throughout the process.
  Will inspect materials visually or physically to verify compliance to established standards.
• Demonstrating good communication skills.
• Ability to succeed in a fast paced, high volume production environment.
• Team player who understands and embraces the team approach to manufacturing.
• Will use scanners & internal production systems
• Will proactively jump in to support fellow team members when needed and share knowledge to allow cross-training of all functions.
• Other tasks or duties as assigned by management.
