Federal Signal Corporation is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Assembler to join its dynamic team. Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all work performed is done properly, inspected and documented according to Company policy and procedure and customer expectations.
  • Maintain production pace in their area of responsibility.  ALWAYS BE AWARE OF JOB DEADLINES!
  • Ensure the Lead is fully aware of the progress of the work under his supervision including immediately notifying the Lead regarding problems that could result in the work being delayed.
  • Maintain an eye on safety issues and compliance issues.  Immediate intervention on any and all unsafe / non-compliant activities is expected including immediately notifying the Lead of the problem!
  • Have knowledge of Job Master Work Authorizations, Drawings, Notes, and Change Orders in order to always ensure work being performed complies with specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area.  This is to include ensuring parts and material are controlled, shop supplies and tools are put away when not being used as well as anything else relating to overall shop cleanliness.
  • Coordinate work in progress with other personnel as required including incoming personnel during each daily shift change.
