Mechanical Assembler - 2nd Shift

Komatsu is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Assembler - 2nd Shift to join their dynamic team. Main Duties 

• Performs various mechanical and electrical assembly functions, including but not limited to, assembly of hydraulic equipment, installation and adjustment of mechanical components, mechanically finalize the equipment and to test equipment prior to final shipment
• Works from engineering prints, routings, and procedures with little supervision
• Responsible for quality and safety of own work and for using the proper personal protective equipment
• Under the direction and supervision of an Electrical Assembler, may be required to install harness structures and cables, and may or may not make the final connections
• Will disassemble and load any equipment for shipment as directed
• May complete light carpentry work such as designing, sawing and building boxes, crates, and ladders
  Use information systems, as required, in the performance of job duties
  • Operates equipment and performs inspection and completes appropriate documentation
  May work with Engineering Department on new model introduction or continuous improvement
