Design Engineer

Vermeer is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. What You Will Do

1. Apply engineering principles and industry knowledge to evaluate data and/or design CAD models for design options and have FEA skills.

2. Use technical knowledge and engineering principles to create, design, document, build and test new solutions for assigned industry using CAD tools.

3. Use SolidWorks, PDMWorks, ECN tools and other design tools to create prototype parts.

4. Work together as a team to collaborate with team members to help the team and team members achieve their goals.

5. Competent in coordinating, executing, and reviewing results of machine testing to determine designs meet performance and reliability specifications.

6. Build and enhance relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional partners to execute projects and have a good understanding of the Vermeer engineering functions.
