Valves Engineer

Quest Global is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Valves Engineer to join their dynamic team. A Mechanical Maintenance Engineer job would entail the following;

• Review of Engineering drawings and Bill Of Materials 
• Selection of appropriate Bill of Materials for the various types of service, with special importance to Carbon steel and Alloy materials for sour corrosive services 
• Assistance with RFQ and evaluation of Vendor documents pertaining to Materials required for Turnaround 
• Identifying required consumables and construction materials 
• Site assurance checking and preparations for construction activities 
• Familiar with piping components and their application, block and bleed valves and their application, piggable valves, types of entry and construction features. 
• Strong Knowledge of piping Material Specifications, Valves and Valve Datasheets and their utility 
• Strong understanding of the various valves used in the Oil and Gas industry. 
• Application and utility of various valves as per industry standards and various operating services. 
• Isometric drawings preparation, extracting and checking Isometrics (layout) using AutoCad . 
• Valve Datasheet preparation.
