Heavy Equipment Technician

Komatsu is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join their dynamic team. Position Qualifications Successful candidates for our Class 2 Mechanic Field positions must have a minimum of 5 years industry experience in heavy equipment repair and possess the following skills and abilities (including but not limited to):

Demonstrated extensive diagnostic and repair experience with heavy equipment (construction, mining, material handling, paving, milling, etc.)
Ability to repair, rebuild, or replace engines and other major components
Advanced knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, etc. systems 
Strong computer skills including Microsoft application and industry software
Ability to read and write in the English Language 
Ability to effectively communicate repair detail accurately in service notes for assigned work orders
Participation in the writing of customer quotes, promoting best-in-class customer service experience 
Mentoring lower tenured mechanics assigned to branch operation
Heavy equipment operation
CDL as an asset
Additional duties as assigned
