Komatsu is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Repair Technician to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Follows all safety procedures and completes housekeeping tasks.
  • Disassembles and cleans hydraulic components of any type; 
  • Repairs hydraulic components of any type, using various hand tools; 
  • Uses lapping machine, drill press, lathe, honing machine, etc., to operate shop equipment; 
  • Refers to prints to ensure fit, finish, and that assembly meets quality standards; 
  • Orders parts as required to complete the rebuild; 
    Completes requisition paperwork to order parts as needed, return parts to stock, and may 
    write work orders for outside vendors to perform work for chroming, etc. 
  • Reviews and inspects completed units to verify conformance to Joy standards. Completes 
    electronic documentation and any other quality-related documents; 
  • Operates and maintains test stands and/or any other test equipment; 
  • Prepares hydraulic components for shipment, which includes painting, packing, and shipping as necessary, and completes necessary documentation; 
  • Properly disposes of any waste materials; 
  • Prepares paperwork as necessary; 
  • Basic computer use to start and complete daily tasks; 
  • Completes other assignments as directed by department supervision.
