Description of Duties

This is an entry-level position for maintenance professionals who want a career as a Mechanical Technician. Under the direct supervision of the Team Lead/Manager, the position learns routine preventive maintenance and basic repairs to Halliburton owned or maintained equipment. The position then assists mechanical maintenance technicians with more complicated repairs, and ultimately acts as a Technician I in the capacity of self-employment. Responsible for ensuring that their exertion of work occurs safely, efficiently, and effectively. When the job tasks are completed appropriately and successfully, their exertion of work indirectly affects cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations operations. Any repercussions incurred by errors done on the job are measureable and controllable. A technical education degree or equivalency is required. Technical degree preferred, along with technical experience.
