POSITION SUMMARY:

Diagnoses, repairs, and conducts preventive maintenance on numerical, computerized numerical control, precision, and conventional machine tools and/or other production equipment used in product generation, manufacture, and/or testing, under limited supervision.
Specialties may include, but are not limited to: electrical, mechanical, vacuum, hydraulic, refrigeration, NC repair, and/or machine tool rebuilding.
Uses measuring equipment; diagnosing and completing general repairs on production equipment.
Identifies need for replacement parts.
Performs limited welding, basic plumbing, and/or grinding.
