Celestica is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Fulfills the following role expectations and responsibilities:

- Troubleshoots and repairs electro/mechanical equipment failures. 
- Schedules and carries out preventative maintenance activities.
- Assists in moving, installing, setting up, and refurbishing equipment. 
- Maintains a current and readily retrievable maintenance log. 
- Records, enters, and tracks significant downtime issues and repairs in the appropriate database/record-keeping file. 
- Coordinates with other departments, as necessary, to facilitate repairs.
- Proactively works toward ensuring performance end targets and objectives are met; Yield/Quality (SPC/SQC) / Production Outs / Up-time / Process Stability. (i.e., meet performance targets).
- Reports any potential problems affecting capacity/quality to the Business Unit Team Leader and potentially across zones/work areas.
- Attends pass-downs, as required, and communicates status.
- To provide a thorough contribution to the management of the failed spare parts process.
- Actively supports Process Engineers in ensuring Continuous Improvement is in progress.
- Is available to train and assist other Technicians and Operators.
