Mechanical Engineer

Panelto Foods is seeking a skilled, experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Processing work orders: Work in progress, work completed each week, and work orders that are new.
• Downtime Analysis: Top 10 plant issues. Concentrate on frequency by region and major stops, as well as the display of downtime by areas.
• PM schedule - weekly, monthly, and quarterly with the production manager. The plan is communicated every week and on weekends. PMs completed versus planned. Key CMs have been completed.
• As the main contact for support from engineering every day. Be aware of the issues and performance is essential.
• Safety - be a leader in this field by giving advice and expertise.
• Key inputs into the forum discussions at the plant: daily reviews at 10:00, weekly work order review with the production manager, and a weekly downtime review in conjunction with the engineer manager.
• Participate in shift handovers with production supervisors at the beginning of every shift.
