Service Technician

Vestas is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join their dynamic team. Duties

• Consistently follow all safety protocols and standards
  Model safety behaviors, promote and acknowledge others performing safe acts, and intervene when unsafe acts are observed
• Identify gaps and safety risks in safety standards and in the working environment, take effective mitigation measures and provide advice to senior technical staff and management
• Demonstrate and endorse integrity, strong initiative, uncompromised focus on safety, and quality of work, on an on-going basis, and may assist with or undertake basic quality audits of other less experienced staff
• Perform intermediate level wind turbine maintenance and/or installation duties, as directed; an example may be competent processing, operating and handling tools (including but not limited to specialist calibration tools, hydraulic and power tools) and basic turbine equipment
• Complete and document tasks where required and enter data into company systems (for example: SAP)
  Gather information and report effectively in relation to turbine performance / issues
