Technician III

Dover is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Technician III to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Key Skills:  

• Install, maintain, inspect, and begin repairs and modifications of equipment and machinery.  
• Install and repair electrical devices, including transformers and electrical and electronic parts of automated machines.  
• Research parts and pricing for repairs as necessary and fill out the required paperwork to purchase parts.  
• Apply the National Electrical Code, manuals, schematic drawings, and blueprints to diagnose and repair equipment.  
• Diagnose and replace defective mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machinery and other equipment.  
• Various saws, drills, workbenches, and hand tools.  
• A person is expected to continually observe and inspect our machinery and facility and make recommendations for changes in procedures and structures, to ensure proper safety, increase productivity, and general effectiveness in our organization.  To this end, the individual will work closely with Supervision and Management and show the ability to be a team leader.   
• The individual is expected to be a self-starter and able to work with or without supervision.  
• Conduct routine and as-needed cleaning to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.  
• Operating a boom lift or forklift.  
• And other duties as assigned.
